Brexit Britain has weaker import controls and we have pursued cheaper global food imports. This is destroying food security and putting lives at risk. Food security means food safety too. We should be strengthening British food production and demanding robust equivalence and verification from imports, not treating food regulation as an inconvenience to trade.
