The open neck shirt politics and Andy Burnham is wearing a bit thin with me already . He's overplaying the northern- ness. Let's face no fecker else from lands end to the Scottish Highlands gives stuff over northern-ness. The Blairite civil service has hit the ground running for good old Andy, who looks more like a cover girl than the real hand of power, that seems to be safely lodged with the snivel service. We seldom see who really runs Britain and Tony Blair played a blinder saturating the civil service with his disciples, who are still in play today ..
